Marshall University has sold more than 18,000 season tickets for the upcoming football season, which is a record.
Last year was also a record, with 14,029 sales.
Ticket manager Matt Monroe says the September 8 home game with West Virginia is having a huge impact.
The Mountaineers have been ranked in the top five in every preseason publication.
Marshall will cap season ticket sales at 23,500.
In all, the stadium seats just over 38,000 people.
