Buying Pizza Thursday Helps Young Boy in Need of Brain Surgery

It’s a perfect reason not to cook dinner Thursday night and you could help a Charleston family by buying a pizza from Dominos in Charleston.

Sarah and Joseph Sprouse are both living with a rare brain disorder called Arnold Chiari Malformation.

It basically means that their brain stems are too long and are being shoved in their spinal cords.

No spinal fluids can move around, which means blurred vision and migraines are among a whole host of other medical problems. Joseph even has a more advanced problem than his big sister because he has a fluid filled tumor on his spinal cord. It’s complicated, but the fact that Joseph already has autism, makes it even tougher.

This is going to be an expensive surgery and fund raising is a must because this surgery for Joseph is going to cost upwards of $400,000.

All Dominos Pizza locations in the city of Charleston will donate 15 percent of its proceeds tomorrow to the Sprouse family.
