More soldiers from West Virginia are preparing for war.
Saturday more than 100 soldiers with the 821st Engineer Company in Summersville will head to Wisconsin for training.
Another 55 from Spencer will join them. Both groups will serve in Southeast Asia for about a year while building and maintaining roads, airfields, and other critical infrastructure.
The mission is a part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The sendoff in Summersville will start around 3 p.m. at the armory there. Then at 5 p.m., the troops will leave from the Spencer Armory.
