Early voting started Friday in Kanawha County and many took advantage of it.
Before the doors opened at voter's registration, a short line of voters waited to cast their ballots.
Many believe the vote could be close!
"It depends on how many people really care about family issues and about the individual more than themselves will come out to vote and if they keep that priority I don't know how the vote will go," Jeane Chrest of Kanawha said.
"I think it may well be very close, although that's up to the voters. I think every election comes down to about one thing. First it ought to be about the issue it self and not about name calling or rumors. Two, who gets their vote out and this case it will be about, who gets their vote out,"
Kanawha County Commissioner Kent Carper said.
Early voting continues through august 8th. Voter's registration is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., except for Thursdays and it’s open until 7 p.m.
The table games vote is set for August 11.
