A man flying in one of those ultra-light gliders crashed Saturday evening.
It happened in Coalton in Boyd County around 9 p.m.
Dispatchers say the gas-powered aircraft went down at the Boyd County Fairgrounds.
Donald Laverty broke both his ankles and a leg. However, his injuries were not life-threatening.
He was flown by helicopter to Cabell-Huntington Hospital where he is in fair condition.
We're told Laverty is in his 40's and is from Mississippi.
