Labor of Love

Sets of glasses, linens, china... They are the things you would typically hear people registering for when they get married.

But this weekend, one couple will use the beginning of their new life together as a bright star for another family.

Rob Laukoter and Wendy Ewald met while working on a Habitat for Humanity house, and plan to tie the knot next weekend. So, instead of asking for gifts, they asked friends and family to work on a Habitat house with them over the weekend.

"I feel like it is putting a good aura into my house," said Connie Andrews, future owner of the house. "Love has brought these people here."

"I am just personally touched that people were willing to come out and do this in honor of Rob and I," said Ewald.

Rob and Wendy will get married next weekend. No word yet on if the bride will wear her hard hat down the aisle.
