Thousands of visitors are flocking to Mount Nebo this week for the West Virginia State Gospel Singing Convention.
The Nicholas County event, which is in its 57th year, got under way this morning and runs through Sunday.
Up to 3000 people are expected to be in attendance Saturday night, for the festival's climax.
Organizer Patty Flowers says the whole event is put together by volunteers, and while donations are accepted, attendance is free of charge.
More than 100 free camping spots are being offered by the West Virginia Mountain State Gospel Singers Corporation on a first-come-first-served basis.
