Route 62 Reopened in Putnam County After Two Accidents
Emergency crews are on the scene of two accidents at the intersection of Route 62 and 34.

PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Route 62 in Putnam County has reopened after two accidents this afternoon.
ORIGINAL STORY
PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Emergency crews are on the scene of two accidents near the intersection of Route 62 and 34.
The first accident happened just after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday near the base of Red House hill.
911 dispatchers tell WSAZ.com the second accident was caused by the first crash.
No word on the extent of the injuries.
Dispatchers say Route 62 will be shutdown for a while.

Technically, the FIRST CRASH was caused by the SECOND CRASHER who was Driving Under the Influence. AS the second crasher ran the first crasher off the road, he continued driving and was thankfully stopped by having his own wreck- stopped from putting anyone else in danger!
