People seeking a hunting license can now skip the 10-hour safety course thanks to the Internet.
Starting Wednesday, the Division of Natural Resources will allow applicants to obtain hunting licenses after passing an online course.
Anyone wishing to do so has to register in person for the course.
The course usually takes about three hours, according to D.N.R. Officials.
The online course was created by the International Hunter Education Association.
It's designed for school-age hunters who are busy with activities like sports and band during the times the in-person courses are offered.
