UPDATE: Police Arrest Suspected Lottery Parlor Robber

Police caught up with a man they Dispatchers say the Mimi's video lottery parlor in Kanawha City Monday Morning.

It happened at about 8:45am.

Police say Aaron Laron Nelson, 28 of Charleston, was dressed in all black when he walked in to the parlor with a gun and demanded cash. Police say he also threw the clerk to the floor, forced the her into a closet, and threatened to kill her if she came out. She wasn't hurt.

Police searched the entire area for Nelson. Police say a K-9 unit was able to track Nelson to a nearby motel, but then lost the track.

At about 1:00pm, police caught up with Nelson after spotting his car parked at a west side motel. They say it matched the description of the car that was in the surveillance video.

This is the second time that this Mimi's location has been robbed this summer.
