The Department of Labor is forcing a Charleston company to pay back wages to its employees after violating federal minimum wage and overtime rules.

The investigation found that Derrick Music Company owes its employees almost $57,000 in back wages.

An investigation found that Derrick Music paid employees a flat salary, no matter how many hours they worked.

The U.S. Department of Labor also found that one employee was paid less than minimum wage.
