Some young tri-athletes didn't let the summer sun slow them down on Saturday morning, as the Third Annual Kids Try-A-Triathlon took place at Beech Fork Lake State Park.

The event had close to 80 kids swimming, riding and running, which was quite an increase from the 37 in attendance last year. But one thing that could be seen this morning was teamwork from the kids.

“It's really hard, but we both could have quit,” said Bo Arthur, from Sims Valley, Ohio. “We were walking a little bit and we could have quit but just the push of having each other together and just having fun, you just want that great feeling when you finish."

Sunday morning is the main Triathlon at Beech Fork Lake State Park. Our own Randy Yohe will be out there doing both the swim and 24 mile bike ride as part of a relay team.
