Peggy Vanhoose appeared in federal court on four counts of theft from a program and receiving federal funds.
Vanhoose was found guilty on three counts and innocent on one.
Jury selection began Monday in the trial of a woman accused of sealing thousands of dollars from the Johnson County School District.
The former treasurer and a former payroll clerk were accused of giving themselves unauthorized pay and giving money to Vanhoose's son.
The school district claimed Vanhoose stole over $500,000.
