SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) – Approximately 900 marijuana plants were seized in a two-day eradication in Scioto County.
The plants were found last week on Monday and Friday, according to Sheriff Marty Donini and Portsmouth Police Chief Robert Ware.
Assisting in the eradication effort were members of the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force, the Marijuana Eradication Unit of the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation, members of the Special Response Team from the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility, and officers from the State of Ohio Division of Parks and Recreation as well as the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
The plants were found at various locations throughout Scioto County.
No arrests have been made.
