GAULEY BRIDGE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The body of a man has been found in the Gauley River in Fayette County.
Dispatchers tell us the body was found in Gauley Bridge near where the Gauley River flows into the New River late Wednesday night.
West Virginia State Police tell us the man's body hasn't been identified.
State Police say the body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Charleston for an autopsy to see if it is the body of a man who led police on a two county chase in March.
Back on March 16th, Adam Nottingham jumped into the Gauley River in the same area after running from police.
