Michael Case Moving Back Home

The sentencing phase for the case against Michelle Michael is headed back to Morgantown.

Monongalia County Judge Robert Stone set the date for September 12.

Judge Stone moved the trial to Kanwaha County because of pre-trial publicity.

A Kanawha County jury found Michael guilty of murdering her husband James, by injecting him with a paralyzing drug, then setting their house on fire.

The jury recommended mercy, meaning she could be eligible for parole in 15 years.
