A Cabell County EMS ambulance wrecked on the way back from a call early Friday morning.
It happened along Route 10 near Salt Rock shortly after 4:30. The ambulance ended up over a hill.
Sheriff deputies say the two paramedics on-board were taken to the hospital complaining of back pain. Again, there was no patient on-board.
It took crews several hours to get the ambulance back up on the road. The guardrail had to be removed and two tow truck brought in.
Deputies believe speed and the weather contributed to the crash.
