The homeless haven, known as Tent City, no longer exists.

We first told you last month the city of Huntington bulldozed down the campsites along the Ohio River and now, some of the homeless is getting help through a benefit concert in Huntington.

There has been a lot of progress on the homeless front and Monday night was just one more example, but there's still a lot of work to be done.

There is a fund set up through the Turning Point Ministries in Kenova. Keep in mind, this is a ministry that focuses on getting homeless people back on their feet and into the workforce.

The organization is having a lot of success with people, who live on the streets, but the pastor said it doesn't happen over night; it takes a lot of patience.

Anybody who wants more information on the Turning Point Ministries can call Pastor Fred Ray at (304) 736-6336 or Michael Ray at (304) 634-6410.
