For the first time in 10 years, West Virginia University is back where some students say it belongs.
It ranks as the nation's number one party school in the annual survey by the Princeton Review. WVU is usually among the top 20 party schools, but the Mountaineers haven't taken the top spot since 1997.
WVU also ranks number one in the category of students who are lax when it comes to studying.
Of course, there are lots of good things going on at the university, too.
WVU is planning a research campus in South Charleston. Union Carbide is donating 58 acres of property and buildings to the project the donation is worth about $25 million.
The research will focus on energy and chemical technology. The campus will be located at Carbide's Technology Park.
