Man Arrested at House Fire

A man from Huntington is in jail this afternoon, charged with setting a fire at a vacant house in Huntington.

Police charged Glen Kitzmiller with arson after witnesses spotted the suspect crawling out the basement window of a house on 5th Avenue.

Neighbors spotted smoke coming for the basement of the home at 232 Fifth Avenue and called 911. This was about 5AM.

Police say Kitzmiller is homeless and it appears he had been living in the basement of the home.

Firefighters say there's mild damage to the basement.

They're still looking for the cause of the fire.
