The recent heat wave is cutting into the profits of some of the county's golf courses.

The county's parks and recreation director blames the summer heat for cutting into the number of rounds people are playing at the county's three golf courses.

Director Jeff Hutchison says he's noticed that some people are moving their tee times to avoid the heat or just cutting down the number of rounds they play.
