In the wake of massive recalls, Attorney General Darrell McGraw is offering more free lead testing of toys.

The testing will be performed tomorrow at the South Charleston Summerfest at the attorney general's booth between noon and 6 p.m.

McGraw had earlier offered lead testing of toys at the State Fair, the Parkersburg Homecoming and the Morgan County Fair.

Lead is toxic if ingested and can cause problems such as reduced mental ability and behavioral problems. Children under age 6 are particularly susceptible.

Tens of thousands of Chinese-made toys -- including dolls, cars and action figures -- have been recalled by the United States just this past month because of lead paint contamination.
