A man is behind bars after robbing a Charleston convenience store and being tracked down by his victims.
Police say Tony Myers walked into the Lee Street One Stop just before 10:30 Wednesday night with a gun and demanded cash.
Police say not only did he rob the store, but he also took money from customers inside.
As he left the store, the witnesses then followed him back to his Wyoming Street apartment and called police.
No one was hurt in the robbery.
Police say it's pretty unusual for witnesses to track a criminal and while this time it turned out good, they say it's not safe to do that, especially with an armed suspect.
