GOP presidential front runner Rudy Giuliani isn't taking West Virginia for granted.
His campaign signed up for the state Republican Party's February 5th nominating convention.
Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney has also committed to the West Virginia convention earlier this month.
The state GOP plans to pick 18 of its 30 delegates to the Republican National Convention on "Super-Duper Tuesday."
That's when 21 other states will be holding primary elections or caucuses.
The former New York mayor was recently in the Mountain State for an August 3rd fundraiser at The Greenbrier Resort.
Giuliani also says Republican Senators Donna Boley of Pleasants County, Karen Facemyer of Jackson County and John Yoder of Jefferson County have joined his grassroots effort in West Virginia.
West Virginia's remaining national delegates, besides the three slots held by party officials, will be selected during the state's primary election in May.
