The words: 'Open for Business,' are on 'Welcome to West Virginia' signs all across the state, but that may change soon. Governor Manchin is asking the people of West Virginia to vote on a permanent slogan.

The poll will be open from September 5th until September 19th and will ask two questions. The first, whether you want a permanent slogan, then the second what do you think the new slogan should be, you'll be limited to only 20 letters.

"I think the people need to make a decision," said Governor Manchin. "Do they want one to be permanent? If so, what is it going to be? Then we will codify it so it will stay there."

To vote click on the link below, or if you know somebody who doesn't have Internet access tell them to call (866) SLOGAN-4.
