LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Drivers in Lawrence County, Kentucky, can expect some delays for more than a month.
Kentucky Power announced that crews will be working along Kentucky State Route 1760 starting on Aug. 20. The work will continue through the first week of October.
During this time, crews will be installing new utility poles and power lines along the roadway.
AEP says road restrictions will be in place from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily.
The traffic restrictions will occur at various locations starting near the intersection of KY 1760 and Mattie-Wilbur Road and ending near the intersection of KY 1760 and Left Fork Little Blaine Road.
AEP says at times, the road may be completely blocked for short periods of time. At other times, traffic may be slowed and allowed to proceed with caution around the equipment.
