UPDATE: Amber Alert Canceled For 11-Year-Old Boy

RUSSELL COUNTY, VA (WSAZ) -- The Amber Alert for a Russell County, Virginia boy has been canceled.

The Russell County Sheriff's Office released a statement that Lucas Guinn, 11, and his abductor, Jimmy Guinn, were found during a traffic stop.

Lucas Guinn was safely recovered, and Jimmy Guinn, 67, was taken into custody.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An Amber Alert remains in effect for an 11-year-old boy from Russell County, Va. who was last seen at his school about 11:15 a.m. Thursday and said to be in extreme danger.

According to the Russell County, Va. Sheriff's Department, Lucas Ezra Silas Guinn is believed to be with his father, Jimmy Donald Guinn, 67.

Investigators say Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky are among potential locations where the pair may have gone.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An Amber Alert has been issued for an 11-year-old boy from Russell, Va.

The Russell County Sheriff's Office says Lucas Ezra Silas Guinn was last seen at Lebanon Middle School in Lebanon, Va. and the time of abduction is 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 20.

The child was last seen wearing a red and black shirt, with blue jean pants.

The suspect is listed as Jimmy Donald Guinn, a white male who may be headed towards Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Scottsdale, Arizona, or Surprise, Arizona in a 2004 purple Tractor Freightliner.
