Man Armed with Knife Robs Bank in Floyd County

FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Kentucky State Police say a man armed with a knife man robbed the Citizens National Bank in Allen Monday afternoon.

Troopers say the man demanded money and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The robbery was reported at 1:41 p.m. Monday.

Detectives say the was about 5 feet, 6 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a white thermal shirt, blue jeans, gloves and a black hood covering his face and head.

There were no injuries, and the incident remains under investigation..
