Huntington Police arrested and charged Angel Marie Baldwin, 25, of Huntington, with first-degree robbery.

Last month, police arrested James Maynard, 25, of Huntington, in connection with the armed robbery of RVA119 located in the 800-block of Adams Avenue.

According to the complaint, Baldwin made a false 911 call, reporting a violent home invasion at the same time Maynard robbed the business at knifepoint.

Baldwin also helped Maynard leave the scene of the robbery in a getaway vehicle, according to the complaint.

"Maynard returned to the vehicle with a lot of money, and the pair departed the area," the complaint states. "(Baldwin) admitted that the emergency was false, and it was intended to divert officers away from that area."

Police also say in the criminal complaint that Maynard confessed to the robbery.
