Arrest Made in String of Thefts in Pike County, Ky.

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A man is in jail after police say he admitted to going on a crime spree in Pike County.

Johnathan Pugh, 22, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Monday.

Pikeville Police say Pugh was in possession of a stolen cell phone.

During the arrest, officers say Pugh admitted to several additional thefts that were reported Sunday.

Pugh told officers where they could find the stolen items.

Police say a large amount of items have been recovered. They are working to identify the rightful owners and get the items returned.

Pugh is being held in Pike County Detention Center.

He is charged with Felony Theft by Unlawful Taking Over $500.

More charges may be filed.
