Man Charged with Selling Heroin to Undercover Deputies at a Grocery Store

BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) – One man is in jail after Boyd County Sheriff’s deputies say they bought heroin from him at a grocery store in Ashland, Ky.

Deputies arrested James R. Hall, 41, of Ashland, late Saturday night. According to a release from the Sheriff’s Department, Hall is accused of selling heroin to deputies and is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance for heroin. Deputies say Hall also had money on him in addition to the heroin.

Hall is lodged at the Boyd County Jail. Deputies say more arrests are pending this investigation.
