HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A man from Ashland has been sentenced to federal prison for tax fraud.
Besides the one month prison sentence, Christopher Hutchinson was ordered to make full restitution for failing to pay nearly $250,000 in federal employment taxes.
Federal prosecutors say Hutchinson owned and operated at least ten different electrical and security businesses from 1990 to 2012 in Huntington, W.Va. and Ashland, Ky.
Those businesses included Peck Security Systems and ICE Electrical Company.
Hutchinson pleaded guilty to the charge in October.
