HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people from Ashland were busted on cocaine charges following a raid on a room at a Huntington motel.

Members of the CUFFED Task Force went to the motel along 16th Street Road last Thursday.

According to the criminal complaint, they had a federal warrant to arrest David Nickell, 43, of Ashland.

Inside the room, task force members say they found 200 grams of suspected cocaine divided into five separate bags. They also found digital scales, a roll of foil, and numerous small baggies that are common in the distribution of drugs.

Nickell and Courtney Oney, 23, of Ashland were present in the room according to investigators.

Both are charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

The pair is being held in the Western Regional Jail.
