UPDATE: One Dead, One Seriously Hurt in Corridor G Crash; Names Released

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A drive home from work took a deadly turn Wednesday morning on Corridor G in Boone County.

Deputies say Andrew Hale was heading south near Danville Wednesday morning when he lost control of his truck and flipped two times.

Hale and his passenger Danny Hatfield were thrown from the truck.

Hale was flown to CAMC General; Hatfield died at the scene.

Deputies believe Hale may have fallen asleep behind the wheel.

It does not appear either man was wearing a seatbelt.

It happened about 10 a.m. Wednesday near Danville.

Deputies say a man was driving a Ford Ranger when he lost control and flipped two times.

Two men were in the truck, both were thrown from it.

The driver was flown to CAMC General, the passenger died at the scene.

Deputies believe the driver may have fallen asleep.

Deputies say it appears neither men were wearing their seatbelts.

No names have been released just yet.

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people have been hurt after a rollover crash on Corridor G in Boone County.

It happened about 10 a.m. Wednesday near Danville.

Deputies say the driver of a Ford Ranger was heading south, when the driver lost control and rolled two times.

Deputies say they believe the driver may have fallen asleep.

Two people were in the truck -- they were both ejected.

One of the victims was flown to the hospital.

The names and conditions of those hurt in the accident have not been released.

Corridor G was closed in both directions for more than an hour, but dispatchers say it has since reopened.
