JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A man from Pike County, Ohio was killed in an accident along State Route 32 in Jackson County Wednesday.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Eldon D. Lamerson, 64, of Beaver, was driving west on State Route 32, when a tractor-trailer pulled out on the highway from the U.S. Route 35 exit ramp and was struck by Lamerson’s Ford Mustang.
Lamerson died at the scene.
We’re told it was very foggy at the time of the crash. No word if the fog contributed to the fatal crash.
No word if the semi driver will be cited.
The accident involves a semi and car and happened at the intersection of Route 32 and Route 35 about 8:30 a.m.
It was extremely foggy in the area when the accident happened.
The Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
