UPDATE: Fire Contained at Downtown Huntington Building

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Huntington firefighters quickly brought a fire under control late Tuesday night in the 300 block of 4th Avenue, firefighters at the scene tell WSAZ.com.

Firefighters say the building was in the process of being converted to apartments. No one currently lives there.

The fire started downstairs and spread upstairs, firefighters say.

The blaze was reported just after 11 p.m. Tuesday.

No one was hurt. The cause of the fire was unknown.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Firefighters are battling a fire late Tuesday night at a business in the 300 block of 4th Avenue, Cabell County 911 dispatchers say.

The fire was reported just after 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Smoke was visible when firefighters arrived.

No one is believed to be inside the business.
