MINGO COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A teenager is charged with murder after a stabbing in Mingo County.
West Virginia State Police tell WSAZ.com James Hinkle, 19, got into a fight with Chris Wolford about 5 p.m. Thursday at Wolford's home on Spring Fork Road in Wharncliffe.
During the fight, troopers say Hinkle pulled out a knife and stabbed Wolford in the stomach.
Wolford was taken to Logan Regional Medical Center but did not survive.
Several of Wolford's family members were home at the time of the stabbing.
Hinkle is expected to be arraigned on the murder charge on Friday.
He was taken to the Southwestern Regional Jail.
