KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man is dead after a car crash in Kanawha County.
The accident happened near the intersection of Sissonville Drive and Guthrie Road about 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Family members tell WSAZ.com, John Potter was driving a white Ford F-150 when he lost control, clipped another car and hit a hillside.
Potter died on the scene.
Sissonville Drive was closed for a couple of hours, it is now back open.
Dispatchers say the two-car crash happened just before 1 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Sissonville Drive and Guthrie Road.
Dispatchers say one person has died in the accident.
Sissonville Drive is closed in the area.
