UPDATE: Fire at Armstrong Mineral Wood Fiber Plant in Jackson Co., W.Va.

JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Fire started in the Armstrong mineral wood fiber plant Wednesday evening.

Authorities say it began about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, and smoke was visible from outside.

There was no word about any injuries or what caused the fire.

Armstrong World Industries opened the plant in November 2011. About 45 people work there.

The company uses mineral wood fiber to make ceiling tiles.

JACKSON COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A building at the industrial park in Millwood is on fire.

Dispatchers say the fire broke out just after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

It is unclear if anyone is inside the building.
