GRAYSON, Ky. (WSAZ) – The McDonald's restaurant in Grayson is back open following a fire Monday night.

Fire crews were called to the restaurant on Carol Malone Boulevard shortly after 6 p.m concerning a fire in a deep fryer.

Grayson Volunteer Fire Chief Greg Felty said the fire likely started in a ruptured gas line connected to the fryer.

Three employees were taken to King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland to be checked out for smoke inhalation.

The restaurant reopened Wednesday.

GRAYSON, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Firefighters say three employees at the McDonald’s restaurant in Grayson were taken to hospital following a fire in the kitchen Monday night.

Fire crews were called to the restaurant on Carol Malone Boulevard shortly after 6 p.m concerning a fire in a deep fryer.

Grayson Volunteer Fire Chief Greg Felty said the fire may have started from a ruptured gas line connected to the fryer.

The three employees were taken to King's Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

The restaurant will be closed until further notice, and the fire remains under investigation.
