CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A home was damaged on Charleston's East End Monday afternoon.
Firefighters tell WSAZ.com, they believe the fire started on the first floor of the home and then spread upstairs.
It started about noon in the 1500 block of Washington Street East.
The owner of the property told us two people had just moved out of the house. They were still in the process of getting their belongings out.
Firefighters are still trying to figure out what started the fire.
The fire was reported just after Noon Monday in the 1500-block of Washington Street East.
The street is closed in the area as crews get the fire under control.
Dispatchers say so far they have gotten no reports of injuries.
