LINCOLN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A mom and her two kids lost everything in a house fire in Lincoln County.
The fire was along Route 34 near the Putnam County line, not far from Route 3. It was reported just after 5 a.m. Tuesday.
WSAZ.com is told the family was not home when the fire stated.
Hamlin Fire Chief Bobby Stickler says the kids were at their father’s house. Stickler says investigators are still looking for their mom. He says she was not at the house when the fire started.
No word on how the fire started. The Fire Marshal has been called to the scene to investigate.
Firefighters from Hamlin, Griffithsville and Putnam County were called in to fight the fire.
