CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Water was shooting high into the air along one busy road in Charleston Wednesday morning.
A water main broke near the frontier building in the 1500-block of MacCorkle Avenue.
At one point, water was shooting 40 feet into the air and you could see it all the way across the Kanawha River.
DOH crews were replacing light posts in the area when they hit the pipe.
West Virginia American Water says they are working to fix the break right now, but no customers are being affected.

It was reported about 10 a.m. Wednesday near the Frontier building in the 1500-block of MacCorkle Avenue.
Dispatcher say the break occurred along the riverbank of the Kanawha River.
Dispatchers say West Virginia American Water has been called to the scene.
