PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WSAZ) -- The bridge at Winns Branch has reopened and all crash scenes have been cleaned up on Route 119, according to Kentucky State Police dispatchers at the Pikeville Post.
Multiple wrecks were reported late Wednesday night on ice-covered bridges on Route 119 between Belfry and Pikeville. Several people were taken to the hospital, but none of the injuries appeared life-threatening, according to KSP dispatchers.
As many as six wreckers were dispatched to the accidents.
The first accidents were reported about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, with several more reported in the next hour.

The bridge at Winns Branch is closed, and traffic is being directed onto Old 119. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution in the area, dispatchers said.
