LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The name of a young woman who was killed in a car crash in Logan County has been released.
Deputies tell WSAZ.com that Kayla Brown was driving along Route 10 near the intersection of Hanging Rock Road.
She lost control of the car and crashed into a hillside. Brown died at the scene.
Brown was just 19-years-old.
Firefighters say an 18-year-old girl was driving along Route 10 near the intersection of Hanging Rock Road, when she lost control and crashed into a hillside.
The girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
Firefighters say another accident happened close by on Route 10.
The driver of that car lost control, flipped over a guardrail and landed 35 feet down a hillside.
Both the driver and the passenger were able to walk away from that crash.
The accident happened about 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Lyburn area.
The Logan County Sheriff's Department says the road is closed in both directions.
No word on if anyone has been hurt in the crash.
