UPDATE: Trailer Fire Contained; No Serious Injuries

UPDATE 6/14/14 @ 2:45 a.m.

JEFFERSON, W.Va. (WSAZ) --A trailer fire in Jefferson, W.Va. has been contained and a person hurt is said to have minor injures.

Firefighters were able to control the flames before they spread to neighboring homes early Saturday morning on Edgar Street.

One person received minor injuries but was treated on scene.

Firefighters are still investigating the cause, but neighbors tell WSAZ.com, they've been having electrical problems with many of the trailers in the area.

JEFFERSON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- One person is hurt in a trailer fire in Jefferson.

The fire started just after 1 a.m. Saturday in the 100-block of Edgar Street.

Crews worked feverishly to get everyone out of the trailer.

One person inside the trailer received minor injuries.

Nearby homes had minor damage due to the extreme heat. Thankfully, fire crews were able to keep the fire from spreading to other properties.

The trailer is a total loss.
