LINCOLN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A murder case in Lincoln County is moving forward.

A grand jury has indicted Greg Justice on a first degree murder charge in the death of Daniel Cook.

Cook's body was found off Laurel Fork Road in July 2012.

LINCOLN COUNTY, WVa. (WSAZ) --- An arrest has been made after a body found in Lincoln County.

Greg A. Justice, 32, of Sumerco was arrested Thursday in connection with the death of Daniel Cook.

"I have no comment; I want to talk to my attorney" Justice said as he was beling led into the office of a Lincoln County Magistrate.

State Police said a tip led them to Cook's body off of Laurel Fork Road.

'Well a lot of people will talk throughout the community but they won't talk to law enforcement," WV Trooper Stephen Bertram said. " They're afraid. When they do that and talk amongst each other, that helps us out."

Justice lives on the same road, Laurel Fork Road, where the body was found, Wednesday night.

UPDATE 7/12/12 @ 11 a.m.
LINCOLN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An arrest has been made after a body was found in Lincoln County.

West Virginia State Police say Daniel Cook's body was found along Laurel Fork Road in the Sumerco area about 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Troopers say they have arrested Greg A. Justice, 32, of Sumerco in connection with Cook's death.

According to the criminal complaint, last Friday Justice took Cook to a secured area on Laurel Fork Road and shot him with a rifle. Witnesses also put the two men together at the time of the victim's disappearance. No word on a motive.

Justice has been charged with 1st degree murder. He is being held in the Western Regional Jail

Family members tell WSAZ.com Cook has been missing since last Friday. Cook's family and friends have organized search parties since his disappearance.

LINCOLN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia State Police are trying to determine the identify of a body found in Lincoln County Wednesday night.

Investigators say the body was just found after 9 p.m. along Laurel Fork Road in the Alkol area.

At this time, they aren't even saying if the body was that of a man or a woman.

LINCOLN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A person's body was found late Wednesday night in the Laurel Fork area of Alkol, West Virginia Police tell WSAZ.com.

Crime scene units are being called out to the scene. The body was reported about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

We have a crew headed to the scene.
