WAYNE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Firefighters spent nearly five hours Friday morning battling a house fire on Webb Rd. south of Fort Gay in Wayne County.
Emergency dispatch tells WSAZ.com no one was home at the time the fire started and no one was injured. Fire crews from Fort Gay and Dunlow were called to the scene shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday night.
They cleared the scene just before 3 a.m.
Crews have been on the scene since about 10 p.m. Thursday.
911 dispatchers say crews don’t know if anyone was inside the home when the fire started.
So far, no one has been found.
