HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man connected to armed robberies at two nail salons in our area has entered a plea to the Huntington robbery.

Police say that Cuong Trong Huynh, 26, of Cross Lanes, robbed Sky Nail and Spa in Huntington in November 2011.

Investigators say Huynh also robbed Top Nails salon in the Liberty Square Shopping Center two days after the Huntington robbery in 2011.

They say he went into the business and asked the owner if he was hiring, pulled out a gun and forced the owner and his wife into a back room.

Huynh made a plea deal in the Putnam County case in April. He pleaded guilty to first-degree robbery. The other charges against him were dropped. He will be sentenced in that case in July.
