NEW INFO: Three Indicted for South Williamson Bank Robbery

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Three men have been indicted in connection with the armed robbery of a Pike County, Ky. bank last year.

Kentucky State Police said that on August 21, two men entered the U.S. Bank in South Williamson, Ky., pulled out guns and demanded money. Both of the men had their faces and heads covered when they entered the bank. The two men then fled the bank on an ATV with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Last week, a Pike County Grand Jury indicted 40-year-old Willard Wooten, 37-year-old Gary McCoy and 43year-old Russell West on one count each of first-degree robbery.

At time of the indictment, all three men were already in the Pike County Detention Center on unrelated charges.

Investigators did not say in the indictment which two men entered the bank, or how the third person was involve in the robbery.

The men are scheduled back in court on the bank robbery charge March 1.

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- The search continues for two men that investigators say robbed a bank and took off on an ATV.

According to a release from the Kentucky State Police, two men entered the U.S. Bank in South Williamson, Ky., pulled out guns and demanded money.

Both of the men had their faces and heads covered, according to the release. One was wearing dark clothing and the other was wearing light clothing.

The two men took off on a green ATV with an undisclosed amount of cash.

KSP is still investigating the robbery. If you have any information contact the Kentucky State Police or call 911.

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- State Police from two states are searching for two people they say robbed a bank in South Williamson, Ky.

A West Virginia State Police dispatcher tells WSAZ.com that the U.S. Bank in South Williamson was robbed about 10 a.m.

Kentucky State Police are at the bank investigating the robbery at this time.

According to the WVSP dispatcher, two people robbed the bank and took off on an ATV. Both of them are believed to be armed.

No word on how much money was taken.
